Aksel Jørgensen was a Kingdom of Denmark artist.

Aksel Jørgensen was a Danish painter and etcher who lived from 1883 to 1957. He also worked as an art educator within the Kingdom of Denmark. His teaching career included instructing several notable artists, such as Henry Heerup, Richard Mortensen, and Asger Jorn. Through his roles as a painter, etcher, and educator, Jørgensen contributed to the Danish art community during the first half of the twentieth century. His legacy endures through his own artistic output and the influence he exerted on the generation of artists he taught.
