Augustin-Alexandre Dumont was a France artist.

Augustin-Alexandre Dumont was a French sculptor and visual artist who lived from 1801 to 1884. Born into an artistic family as the child of the sculptor Jacques-Edmé Dumont, he continued the tradition of his father within the French art world. His career included a significant role as an educator, where he instructed notable artists such as Raoul François Larche and François-Joseph-Hubert Ponscarme. Through his own practice and his mentorship of the next generation, Dumont contributed to the sculptural landscape of nineteenth-century France. His work remains a documented part of the era's visual arts history.
