Jean Dughet was a Papal States artist.

Jean Dughet, born in 1614 and active until his death in 1679, was an engraver from the Papal States. He worked primarily as a printmaker and printseller during his lifetime. His artistic education took place under the guidance of Nicolas Poussin, a significant influence on his development. Dughet was also the sibling of the artist Gaspard Dughet, linking him to another notable figure of the era. His documented career reflects a dedication to the craft of engraving within the cultural context of the seventeenth century.
