Kate Perugini

Kate Perugini was a British painter who lived from 1839 to 1929 in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. She was the child of the author Charles Dickens and pursued a documented career as an artist and painter. Her personal life included two marriages to fellow artists, first to Charles Allston Collins and later to Charles Edward Perugini. These relationships placed her within a circle of creative figures during her lifetime. Her work and lineage remain part of the historical record of British art from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
