VASSILIS POLYCHRONIADIS

VASSILIS POLYCHRONIADIS is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Athens School of Fine Arts.

He showed up at protests with a vintage camera and a thermos of strong coffee, shooting black-and-white photos on expired film just to see the colors leak. Every roll he loaded felt like a time-capsule experiment: light, heat, and chance doing the developing. His 2011 photo titled Άτιτλο (that’s “Untitled” in Greek) is a single fogged frame, faces blur into one smudge of skin and shadow, like memory itself refusing to focus. If you’ve ever stood in a crowd and felt your own edges soften, that’s the door in.
