Amanda Helander

Amanda Helander was a Swedish painter and draftsperson who lived from 1825 to 1885. She pursued her artistic training under the guidance of the artist Maria Röhl. Her personal life was deeply connected to the art world through her marriage to the artist Johan Edvard Bergh. Together they had a son, Richard Bergh, who also became a notable artist. Helander's career as a painter and draftsperson spanned six decades during the nineteenth century.
