Francesco Galli Bibiena

Francesco Galli Bibiena was an Italian architect and scenographer who lived from 1659 to 1739. His documented work encompassed theatre design and printmaking alongside his architectural practice. He studied under the artist Lorenzo Pasinelli, establishing a foundation in the visual arts that informed his later career. Later in life, he assumed a teaching role, instructing the artist Giovanni Paolo Panini. His contributions spanned the creation of theatrical spaces and the production of prints, reflecting a multifaceted engagement with the arts of his time.
