Edvard Lehmann was a Danish painter who lived from 1815 to 1892. He worked as an artist, draftsperson, lithographer, and illustrator during his lifetime. His artistic training included study under the artist Johan Ludwig Lund. He also studied under the artist Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg. These mentors shaped his development as a creator within the Kingdom of Denmark. His body of work reflects the disciplines he practiced throughout his career.
