Edith Dimock was an American artist who lived from 1876 to 1955. She worked primarily as a painter and studied under the instruction of William Merritt Chase. Her artistic life included a marriage to the artist William James Glackens. Dimock contributed to the visual arts during her lifetime, maintaining a practice alongside her husband and within the circle of her teacher. Her work remains a part of the documented history of American painting from this period.
