Margaretha van Godewijk was a Dutch Republic artist.

Margaretha van Godewijk was a Dutch artist active in the Republic during the seventeenth century. Born in 1627 and living until 1677, she cultivated a diverse practice that extended beyond painting to include writing, poetry, music, and draftsmanship. Her artistic training included study under the painter Cornelis Bisschop as well as instruction from Nicolaes Maes. In addition to her visual arts, she was a skilled harpsichordist. This combination of talents reflects the broad cultural engagement of her time, establishing her as a multifaceted figure within the Dutch artistic community of her era.
