Lorens Pasch the Elder was a Swedish artist active between 1702 and 1766. Working as a painter and draftsperson, he maintained a significant presence within the artistic community of his time. His professional life included teaching the artist Isak Wacklin. Pasch was also a member of a notable artistic family, serving as the parent to the artists Ulrika Pasch and Lorens Pasch the Younger. Additionally, he was the sibling of the artist Johan Pasch. These familial and pedagogical connections highlight his role in the transmission of artistic practice in eighteenth-century Sweden.
