Elisabeth Alida Haanen was a painter from the Northern Netherlands who lived from 1809 to 1845 within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Her artistic practice occurred alongside that of her siblings, who were also recognized artists. She was the sister of George Gillis Haanen, Adriana Johanna Haanen, and Remigius Adrianus Haanen. This family connection placed her within a notable circle of Dutch painters during the early nineteenth century. Her work and life are documented as part of the broader artistic output of her time in the region.
