Bloch Suhr V
Bloch Suhr V is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Helsinki City Museum.
This Finn sketched the city from a distance, often from a café window or a park bench, as if the buildings needed to shrink in his notebook before they made sense. What you’re really seeing in Helsinki etelästä isn’t rooftops or streets, it’s the way light bends across concrete at 4 p.m. in February and turns every shadow into a question mark. Slide over to his untitled sketch of Senate Square at dusk; the lamp posts lean like drunk math teachers, and suddenly the whole view feels portable.
