Harmen Jansz Muller was a Dutch Republic artist who lived from 1538 to 1617. He worked as a printer, engraver, bookseller, xylographer, cartographer, and publisher in the Northern Netherlands. Muller is recognized as a significant printmaker of his time. He taught his son, the artist Jan Muller, and served as a parent to him. His professional activities spanned multiple disciplines within the print and book trades. This multifaceted career established him as a key figure in the dissemination of visual and textual works during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
