Chara Kofou

Chara Kofou kept a studio packed with half-finished canvases, each one leaning against the next like waiting conversations. She painted in bursts, often at night, leaving the odd untitled work to dry in the corner for months. Why she skipped titles is anyone’s guess, maybe the silence suited her Greek landscapes better.
