Marie van Regteren Altena was a Kingdom of the Netherlands artist.

Marie van Regteren Altena was a Dutch painter who lived from 1868 to 1958. She was the sibling of the artist Martinus van Regteren Altena. Her artistic training included studies under Jan Veth, Geo Poggenbeek, Nicolaas Bastert, and August Allebé. These instructors guided her development as a painter within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Her work remains part of the documented history of Dutch art from this period.
