Lilly Rydström -Wickelberg

Lilly Rydström-Wickelberg kept painting the same two rooms in her Stockholm apartment for decades, her dining table by the window at 8 AM, the corner where her cat napped at 4 PM. She used the same green tube of oil paint until it dried out, mixing it with whatever else was on hand: coffee dregs, dust, a dab of jam. Why?
