Jules Emmanuel Valadon

Jules Emmanuel Valadon was a French painter and draftsperson who lived from 1826 to 1900. His artistic training included study under the artists Henri Lehmann, Michel Martin Drolling, and Léon Cogniet. Through this education, he developed the skills necessary for his documented practice in painting and drawing. Later in his career, Valadon assumed the role of instructor, teaching the artist César-Isidore-Henry Cros.
