Emmerik Høegh-Guldberg was a Danish painter who lived from 1807 to 1881 within the Kingdom of Denmark. His artistic training included study under Christian August Lorentzen and Christian David Gebauer. Later in his career, he assumed a teaching role, instructing the artist Janus la Cour. These documented relationships mark his presence in the Danish art community of the nineteenth century. His work as a painter remains the primary record of his professional life during this period.
