Alison Lambert

Alison Lambert’s notebooks are full of lines that won’t sit still. The artist sketches on the go, tracing shapes that blur between city and sky, always half a step ahead of the paper. One sheet from 2014 shows a tower block caught between drawing and erasure, she calls it Iah, borrowing the Egyptian word for moon because “it keeps waning and waxing in my hand.”
