Untitled is a 1969 ink by Claes Oldenburg, David Novros, Forrest Myers, Robert Rauschenberg, John Chamberlain, Various Artists Andy Warhol, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This drawing shows simple shapes and stick figures on a light background. There’s a wavy line, a few boxes, a hexagon with a cut-out, and a small figure with arms and a face. One corner has a dark square with faint lines inside. The lines are thin and sketchy, like quick doodles. The dark square is actually a tiny piece of tech—it’s made from a real ceramic chip. This mix of art and science was part of a 1969 project where artists played with new materials. Want to know more? Check out lithography to see how this print was made.
