About this work

This drawing is all black ink on a light background. You see two tall, skinny figures on the sides, but they’re not quite human—they’re made of jagged lines and sharp angles. Between them is a messy tangle of shapes and scribbles, like a tangled web or a broken machine. The whole thing feels chaotic, with no clear edges. The artist used a process called printing from stone, where ink is rolled onto a smooth surface and pressed onto paper. That’s why the lines look both rough and slightly fuzzy. Want to know more?
