This drawing is all jagged lines and rough shapes in black and white. You can’t tell what it’s supposed to be—just tangled, uneven strokes that fill the page. Some areas are thick with marks, while others are almost blank, like the artist scraped or smudged the crayon. The word “BLACK” is written at the top, maybe as a title or just a note. The paper looks thin, like you could see light through it. If you like messy, fast sketches, check out Joan Mitchell.
