This image shows three dried flower heads on thin stems. Two of them are round and spiky, like closed buds, while the middle one has long, feathery bristles sticking out. The background is plain and light, so all the focus stays on the flowers. The artist used a printing method called photogravure, which lets you see fine details in the texture. Each flower looks almost three-dimensional, even though it’s just a print. Look up Blossfeldt, Karl next to see more of his close-up plant work.
