This sketch shows four quick, loose portraits of people. The top left figure wears a red hat and a dark dress. The next one down has a big woven hat with a shadow under it. The top right person is blurred, with a yellow glow behind them. The bottom figure sits, draped in a cloak, holding something in their hands. The artist used fast, sketchy lines and watercolor washes to capture faces and fabrics. The hats look like they might be traditional—one is woven, another is simple and red.
