Untitled is a 2007 ink by Christopher Williams, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This poster shows two giant, cartoonish skulls facing each other. Their empty eye sockets and mouths are filled with tiny squares, lines, and question marks. At the top, a list of questions in bold text—like *"Pop?"* and *"Radio Danièle?"*—jumps out in bright colors. The bottom half is a solid red stripe with small white text. The skulls look like they’re made of scrambled wires and blocks, almost like a glitchy map. The questions seem to mock big ideas, like art trends or brands, by turning them into jokes. If you like this weird mix of text and images, check out lithography to see how it’s made.
Christopher Williams (born 1956 in Los Angeles) is an American conceptual artist and fine-art photographer who lives in Cologne and works in Düsseldorf.
