You see a grid of wobbly black lines on a pale gray background. Some lines cross, some stop short, and a few look like they were drawn with a shaky hand. This print was made at the Tamarind Workshop, a place in Los Angeles where artists learned how to draw on stone and print the image over and over. Antreasian helped run the workshop, so the shaky lines aren’t mistakes—they’re part of the design. To see how other artists used the same method, look up lithography.
