About this work

This painting shows a simple drawing made with ink on printed paper. It's small, only about 6 inches by 5 inches. The artist used bold lines to create a pattern. The pattern is made up of many small marks. These marks overlap and intersect with each other. This technique gives the drawing a sense of texture and depth. This drawing is similar to work by artist Heinz-Klaus Metzger.
