This painting shows a dark, oval shape on a bright green background. Inside the oval, there are faint lines and marks that look like they might be faces or figures, but they’re hard to make out. The edges of the shape are uneven, and the whole thing feels a little rough, like it was made by hand. The artist used a special way to print this—no ink was needed. Instead, the paper was cut or pressed to create the dark areas. This makes the painting feel more like a texture than a smooth picture. If you want to learn more, look up lithography.
