This painting shows a large, empty orange space with a black and white checkered floor. The floor is made up of many small squares, and it fills the bottom part of the painting. On the left and right sides of the floor, there are groups of people standing. They are all wearing different colored clothes. The people are standing close together, but they don't seem to be doing anything. The floor and the people are the only things in the painting, except for the big orange space above them. The painting is very simple, but it's also very interesting because of the way the colors and shapes work together. If you like this painting, you might want to look up more works by Marina Stern.
