About this work

This sketch shows two birds in flight, their wings and bodies made of loose, ink-blot shapes. Below them, two pairs of hands reach upward, fingers spread wide. The lines are quick and uneven, like they were drawn fast—some areas are thick with ink, others barely there. The artist signed it in the corner, but no date or title is clear. The birds look almost like shadows, with no real detail except their movement. Check out the Museum of Ethnography to see more work like this.
