This image shows a blank, mostly white surface inside a wooden frame. There’s a faint, barely-there outline near the center—like a ghostly sketch of a shape, maybe a head or a figure. The edges of the paper have some smudges and tiny marks, but nothing else stands out. The painting is called *Schiță de personaje*, which means "character sketch" in Romanian. It’s held at the Museum of Ethnography, but the artist, Tiberiu Nicorescu, left it unfinished. If you like empty or unfinished works, look up impasto to see how artists use thick paint—this piece feels like the opposite.
