About this work

This painting is a wild mix of black ink and cut-out shapes on a light background. You see lots of flowers, vines, and leaves tangled together, some overlapping, others floating loose. The lines are thick in spots, thin in others, and the whole thing feels like a busy garden exploded onto paper. The artist used real paper cutouts—some look like lace, others like rough sketches—glued right onto the canvas. It’s messy but controlled, like someone carefully arranged chaos.
