About this work

You see a big blank sheet of paper with a few faint pencil lines—almost like someone started a sketch and walked away. Prince didn’t draw a scene. He drew the idea of drawing. The lines are so light they look like they could disappear if you blinked. It’s quiet, but it makes you wonder: what counts as art? If this makes you curious, look up the technique called cross-hatching.
