About this work

This drawing is all black ink on light paper. It’s packed with sharp lines—lots of zigzags, circles, and wavy shapes that don’t look like anything real. Some parts look like musical notes or maybe instruments, but everything’s tangled together in a busy, rhythmic pattern. The artist used simple lines to fill the whole page, almost like a puzzle. There’s no color, just different weights of ink to make some lines stand out more. If you like this style, check out The Museum of Modern Art to see more abstract works.
