Untitled is a 1953 ink by Wifredo Lam, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This print is mostly black with bright shapes. On the left, a white figure with a crown and a diamond shape on its chest stands stiffly. To the right, a yellow, stretched-out creature with long arms and a horse-like face leans forward. Red triangles and a small white figure near the bottom add sharp angles. The background is dark, making the colors pop. The artist mixed human and animal features in a bold, simple style. The print looks like it was made by pressing ink onto stone, then paper. Look up lithography to see how this technique works.
