Public Domain Art Prints
Artifact World Gallery sells museum-quality, made-to-order prints of public-domain masterpieces — fine-art paper prints, framed prints, framed + mount and canvas, fulfilled by Prodigi. Because every one of its 193,000+ artworks is CC0, you can also download the image free if you only want the file.
Some of the world’s greatest paintings are now in the public domain, which means anyone is free to reproduce them. Artifact World Gallery turns that into two honest choices: download the high-resolution image free if you only want the file, or order a finished, museum-quality print when you want the piece on your wall — chosen from 193,000+ public-domain works.

What’s offered
Every print is made to order in four formats: fine-art prints, framed prints, framed + mount, canvas. A fine-art paper print is the artwork on its own; a framed print arrives ready to hang; framed + mount adds a border around the image; and canvas gives a gallery-wrapped finish. Pick the size and finish that suits your wall.
Orders are produced and shipped by Prodigi, a print-on-demand fulfilment partner, so each piece is printed for you rather than pulled from stock.
Why public-domain prints are special
These aren’t generic posters — they’re reproductions of genuine masterpieces whose copyright has expired, so the works belong to everyone. That makes them an affordable way to put a Vermeer, a Hokusai or a Klimt on your wall without a licence fee inflating the price.
Because all 193,000+ artworks in the catalogue are public domain / CC0, the same piece you order as a print can also be downloaded free in high resolution. The store is for when you want a finished, museum-quality print made to order; the free download is for when you just want the image.
How it works
Browse the collection by 10 colour palettes, by art movement, by subject or by artist until you find a work you love. Open it, choose a size and a finish — paper, framed, framed + mount or canvas — and order it.
Or, if you only want the image, download the full-resolution file free with no account. Both options sit on the same artwork, so you’re never pushed into a purchase to get the picture.

Questions
Can you sell prints of public-domain art?
Yes. Public domain means the work’s copyright has expired, so anyone may reproduce, print and sell it. Every artwork at Artifact World Gallery is public domain (CC0), which is exactly why we can offer made-to-order prints of it.
What print options are available?
Four made-to-order formats: fine-art prints, framed prints, framed + mount, canvas. You choose the size and finish for each work, and orders are fulfilled by Prodigi.
Are the prints good quality?
The prints are museum-quality and made to order — each one is printed for you by our fulfilment partner rather than held in stock. Print, framed, framed + mount and canvas finishes are available so you can match the piece to your space.
Can I get the image for free instead?
Yes. Because every artwork is public domain / CC0, you can download the high-resolution image free with no account if you only want the file. The store is there for when you’d rather have a finished print on your wall.
