Jack Airy painted quiet corners of rural Suffolk in watercolour around 1940. In St. Bartholomew's Church from the South-West, Orford, Suffolk and The Mill at Parham he captured brickwork softened by ivy, slate roofs catching thin light, and lanes that seem to lead nowhere.
