Aurel Vintilescu carried a sketchbook everywhere, even on the back of his motorcycle, scribbling Iași street scenes between deliveries. He painted the city like it was breathing, crowds at Piața Sf. Spiridon, autumn forests at Pădurea Tătărași, always in thick, urgent strokes that feel like they were finished in one shot.
