The Goodhart Master, also called the Goodhart Ducciesque Master, was an Italian painter active in Siena in the early fourteenth century, roughly between 1315 and 1330. His name derives from a Madonna once in the Goodhart collection, now in the Robert Lehman Collection in New York. A close follower of Duccio di Buoninsegna, he painted devotional images of the Virgin and Child in the refined Sienese manner, with gold grounds, delicate line, and tender expression.
Among his works are a Madonna and Child Enthroned with Two Donors and a Madonna and Christ Child with saints, panels made for private and church devotion.
