Artist
Boyce
Boyce is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
She printed in a back room lit by a single bulb, sleeves rolled past her elbows, stacking copper plates like pancakes. Boyce spent the late 1700s turning everyday scenes, cart horses, market stalls, into crisp, mirror-like prints that looked like they’d stepped out of tomorrow. Slide into Gallery Tiles with her H Beard Print Collection and you’ll see why collectors still hunt for the crisp lines she scratched into metal.
