Gunnar Gunnarsson Wennerberg was a Swedish painter, graphic artist, handicrafter, and draftsperson who lived from 1863 to 1914. His artistic training included study under the artists Léon Bonnat and Henri Gervex. These educational experiences formed the foundation of his practice as a creator of visual works. Wennerberg's career spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, during which he contributed to the Swedish art scene through his documented occupations. His work remains a part of the historical record of Swedish artists from this period.
