Andries Vaillant

Andries Vaillant was a Dutch golden age artist active during the late seventeenth century. Born in 1655 and passing in 1693, he worked within the Dutch republic as a painter, visual artist, and copper engraver. His artistic formation occurred under the guidance of his sibling, the artist Wallerant Vaillant, who also served as his brother. This familial connection extended to another brother, the artist Bernard Vaillant, creating a notable network of creative talent within the family.
