Monica Cerchez Chirnoagă

Monica Cerchez Chirnoagă hung her laundry on the same line as her fish, literally. She clipped a trout, a rag, and a copper saucepan to a wire, painted the scene under a single hard light, and signed it in the corner like a grocery list. That 1994 snapshot still reads like a diary entry nine rooms away.
