This 1961 print shows a deep-rimmed dish covered inside with white slip, then decorated with the Socialist Republic of Romania’s coat of arms in the center and communist symbols, hammer and sickle between two flags and a star, around the lip, all in earthy red, green, yellow and brown. Two brush-written lines frame the rim: “ANUL 1961” and “Pictată în 19 IV a de Monda Ioana.” The glazed face seals the design under clear enamel. Tap the dish itself to see the marks up close.
