You’ll find W. H. Mason tucked in the back of old theater programs, the guy who snapped photos of actors mid-scene when the lights hit just right. He wasn’t an actor, he was the quiet guy with the big camera, catching them between takes when their faces dropped the pose. Look up “Guy Little Theatrical Photograph” and you’ll see what he left behind: sharp black-and-white prints where the greasepaint is still wet and the stage lights spill like spilled sugar over the floor.
