W. Vince Cook
W. Vince Cook is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
W. Vince Cook drew church brasses in 19th-century England. Their surviving sheet, Brass of Thomas Pounder in St. Mary Quay Church, Ipswich, traces a life-sized figure etched into metal centuries ago. The drawing preserves a quiet record: a merchant’s memorial pressed into floor plates, worn smooth by parishioners’ shoes. Find the same church tower today and you can still step on the brass Cook rendered.
