Minton

Minton is an Impressionism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Minton made official civic seals, decorative sculptures, and statuettes in the mid-1800s Stoke-on-Trent tradition. Their 1901 seal for the Corporation of Stoke upon Trent still marks city documents today, while the 1873 bust The Clodion Venus shows flowing drapery and a classical turn of the head. A small 1847 statuette rounds out the group. To see how Stoke’s potteries stamped their mark on civic pride, tap the Corporation seal.
