This collage shows a woman with a dark face and headscarf standing among birds and plants. The birds—white and brown—have sharp eyes and open beaks, as if calling out. The background is dark blue, with green leaves and flowers cut from paper and layered over each other. The woman’s dress is made of light fabric with a floral pattern, and her arms are raised slightly. The art is built by cutting and pasting printed images, not painting them.
