This drawing shows two views of a carved stone piece—one from the front, one from the side. The top part looks like a flat slab with swirls and circles carved into it, while the bottom shows a round window framed by fancy columns and egg-shaped decorations. The lines are precise, and the shading is light, giving it a clean, almost ghostly look. The title says this was drawn for a church in Terracina, Italy. The artist, Robert Adam, was known for designing buildings with this kind of detailed, classical style. Look up Adam, Robert to see more of his grand architectural drawings.
